What “For the Fight” means

“For the Fight” is written on our faces. It is not a slogan about aggression — padel is a sport of partners, not a sport of war. It is a way of saying that the game is won in the moments when it would be easier to give up the point: the one ball too many, the impossible off-the-glass shot, the third set after an hour and a half in the sun.

It is also a way of acknowledging what most players actually experience. Few people play international tournaments. Many play on Tuesday evenings under floodlights, on the way home from work, with a partner who grumbles and an opponent who lobs every single ball. That fight counts just as much, and it is the one we want to see on this page.

Who is part of the community

Nobody has to prove a ranking to appear here. Our community brings together:

  • competitors who play tournament after tournament and use our rackets in matches;
  • regular club players, the ones with a fixed slot and a team that never changes;
  • beginners who have just bought their first real racket and are discovering what padel does to a diary;
  • coaches and clubs who use our models in their lessons.

That mix interests us more than a wall of champions. A racket that only works for the best players in the world is not a good racket: it is a display piece.

How to take part

It is deliberately simple. Three steps.

1. Take the photo

An action photo, on a court, with a recognisable SCUD racket. A smash, a bandeja, an off-the-glass shot, a celebration after a won point, a whole team after a match — anything works. A few practical tips, none of them mandatory:

  • favour natural light or a well-lit court;
  • keep the racket visible in the frame, that is what identifies the photo;
  • shoot in portrait format if you would also like to see it on our social channels;
  • send the original file rather than a screenshot: the difference in quality is huge.

2. Send it

Write to Iwanttobeonthewebsite@scud.life. In the message, give your first name (or the handle you want to appear under), your club or city if you wish, and the SCUD model you play. If the photo was taken by someone else, say so: we credit the photographer.

By sending us your photo, you allow us to publish it on this site and on our social channels. You can ask us to remove it at any time by replying to that same e-mail, and we will do so, no questions asked.

3. Follow what happens next

We reply to every submission. Selected photos are published on this page and on our accounts, with the credit you gave us.

What we publish — and what we do not

We showcase what shows the game: commitment, technique, the atmosphere of a court, a team. We are especially fond of photos that are not perfect — backlighting, fogged-up glass in winter, a slightly worn municipal court.

We do not publish content that identifies people without their consent, photos of minors without a parent’s permission, or images with a competing brand in the foreground. We do not crop your photo to erase the context, and we never fabricate testimonials: what appears under a photo is what you wrote to us.

Our models are limited editions finished by hand, and they cover different styles of play.

The SCUD Black Impact B3 is our flagship model and the one that comes up most often among attacking players: 18K carbon, EVA Hard Power foam, diamond shape, AVS anti-vibration system, hand-applied sanding, designed in France. It is the racket of those who come to the net to finish.

The SCUD Wood S1 is the most recognisable in photos, with its wood finish that recalls the very first padel rackets. 12K carbon and fibreglass, soft EVA foam, 350 g teardrop, AVS system and hand-applied sanding: control and comfort, in an object that looks like nothing else on a court.

Why this page exists

We could have filled this site with studio images. We have them, they are useful, and they say nothing about the sport. What does say something are the photos taken at the end of a match, when the light fades and nobody is posing.
