Frequently asked questions

Shipping, returns, warranties, payment and choosing your model. If your question is not here, write to us: we reply within 48 working hours.

Shipping

Where do you deliver and how long does it take?

We deliver to France and the whole of the European Union. Every order ships within 48 h. Then allow 2 to 4 working days for mainland France and 3 to 7 working days for the rest of the European Union.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping is €15 in France and €20 in the rest of the European Union. It is free from €300. The exact amount is shown before you confirm payment, based on the destination you select.

How do I track my order?

A confirmation e-mail summarising your order is sent as soon as payment is accepted. The site has no customer account: to check the status of an order, write to shop@scud.life quoting your order number, and we will reply within 48 working hours.

Returns & warranties

How long do I have to change my mind?

You have the legal period of 14 days from receipt to notify us of your withdrawal, with no need to give a reason. As a commercial gesture, we extend this period to 30 days. After notifying us, you have a further 14 days to send the product back to us.

How does a return work?

Contact us at shop@scud.life quoting your order number. We will then send you the return address. Send the product back to that address: return shipping is at your expense. The refund is made within 14 days of receipt and inspection of the parcel, to the original payment method.

What condition does the racket need to be returned in?

The product must come back complete and in a condition that allows it to be resold, preferably in its original packaging and protective cover. A new, unplayed and repackaged racket is refunded in full. If the value has been reduced by handling beyond a simple try-out (marked scratches, knocks, a cracked or warped frame), we reduce the refund by the loss of value observed.

My racket is faulty or arrived damaged, what should I do?

A product that is faulty, damaged on delivery or not as described falls under the legal guarantee of conformity, which is separate from the right of withdrawal. Write to us at shop@scud.life: we cover the return and arrange an exchange or a full refund, at no cost to you. The guarantee against hidden defects also applies.

Payment & VAT

Why is there no VAT on my order?

B SCUD OÜ is not subject to VAT: the mention “VAT not applicable” therefore appears on your order. The prices shown on the site are net, final prices; no tax is added at payment.

Which payment methods do you accept?

Payment is made online by bank card via Stripe, our secure payment provider. No card details are stored by SCUD. The order is processed once Stripe has accepted the payment.

Choosing your racket

How do I choose the grip size?

Our rackets come with a standard-size handle, like the vast majority of padel rackets: there is therefore no size to choose when ordering. If you prefer a thicker handle or a different feel, add one or two overgrips over the original grip — that is how most players adjust their hold.

Which SCUD model should I choose for my level and game?

The Black Impact B3 is our most powerful model (18K carbon, Hard Power EVA foam, diamond shape, 365 g): it is built for attacking players, from confirmed intermediate to competition level. The White S3 is our control reference: same foam and same shape, but a more forgiving 12K carbon, for players who build the point and those still grooving their stroke. The Mexique M1 (12K carbon, firm EVA, diamond, available in January 2027) is the most exclusive, responsive and stable. The Wood S1 (12K carbon and fibreglass, soft EVA, teardrop, 350 g) is the most comfortable and most manoeuvrable: control and the tradition of wood. All of them feature the AVS anti-vibration system and hand-applied sanding.

What does “limited edition” mean at SCUD?

Each model is produced in a limited quantity, and the sanding of every face is applied by hand: no two rackets are perfectly identical. We do not guarantee that a sold-out run will be restocked identically. So when a model shows “Sold out” on the shop, it may not come back.

The full conditions are set out in our terms of sale (French) and on the shipping & returns page. For the technologies built into each model, see all our rackets.
