Where we deliver

To mainland France and the 26 other member states of the European Union. For now, we do not deliver outside the European Union or to overseas territories.

Costs and lead times

The exact cost is shown on the payment page, based on the delivery country you enter. As prices are net of VAT and parcels stay within the European Union, no customs duties or taxes will be charged on delivery.

Dispatch and tracking

Every order is prepared and handed to the carrier within 48 working hours of payment confirmation. Rackets travel in their protective cover, inside a padded box. The confirmation e-mail contains your order number; to check the status of a shipment, write to us at shop@scud.life quoting it, and we will reply within 48 working hours.

If the parcel has not reached you 10 working days after the confirmation e-mail, contact us: we open an enquiry with the carrier and, if the parcel is lost, we resend the product or refund you in full. Under no circumstances does delivery take place more than 30 days after the order.

Parcel damaged on arrival

Check the condition of the parcel in front of the courier whenever possible. If the box is crushed or open, or if the racket is damaged, photograph the parcel and the product and write to us within 48 hours: we cover the return and send you a new racket or refund you in full. This falls under the legal warranty of conformity, not the right of withdrawal.

Changing your mind: 30 days

The law gives you 14 days from receipt to withdraw without giving a reason; we extend this period to 30 days. The process takes four steps:

1. Write to us at shop@scud.life before the period ends, quoting your order number. The standard withdrawal form (French) is available to you, but not compulsory.
2. We reply with the return address. Do not send anything back before you have received it.
3. Send the product back within 14 days, complete, in its protective cover and padded packaging, by tracked shipment: return costs are at your expense and the parcel travels under your responsibility until we receive it.
4. We refund you within 14 days of receipt (or as soon as we receive proof of shipment), to the original payment method, initial delivery costs included.

Condition of the returned product

You may unpack the racket, hold it and examine it as you would in a shop: in that case, the refund is in full. A racket that has been played — ball impact marks, visible scratches, a knocked or cracked frame, a worn overgrip, a stretched wrist strap — goes beyond that trial. In accordance with article L. 221-23 of the French Consumer Code, we then reduce the refund by the loss of value observed, which may reach the full value of the product if it can no longer be sold.

Custom "by scud" rackets, made to order for a club or a brand, cannot be returned under the right of withdrawal.

Faulty or non-conforming product

A manufacturing defect, a discrepancy with the product page or damage that occurred before delivery falls under the legal warranty of conformity (two years from delivery) and the warranty against hidden defects. Write to us with photographs: we cover the return costs and, depending on your choice and the legal conditions, repair, replace, reduce the price or refund you in full. Normal wear of consumables (grip, overgrip, frame protector) and damage from use are not covered. The warranties are detailed in article 7 of the terms of sale (French) and in their appendix (French).

Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges: to change model, return the racket following the procedure above and place a new order. You do not have to wait for the refund to order.
