Until now, buying a SCUD racket meant going through a marketplace. It was a practical way to get started, but it kept us at arm’s length from you: no proper product page, no room to explain what sets one model apart from another, and a relationship that ended at the order line. This page marks the end of that middleman. The shop you are reading is ours, and from now on this is where everything happens.

Why our own shop

Selling direct means, first of all, being able to say things. Every racket now has its own page, with its materials, its playing profile and the features specific to it — because they are not identical across the range, and we would rather write it down than leave you guessing. It also means answering you ourselves, without going through a customer service team that knows neither the product nor the sport.

Limited series, finished by hand

Our rackets are released in limited series, with no identical re-runs. The sanding on the face is applied by hand, piece by piece: it is what grips the ball when you put spin on it, and it is also why no two rackets are ever perfect twins. Once a series sells out, it does not come back. If you like a model, now is the time to get it.

Ordering, receiving, changing your mind

We ship to France and across the whole European Union. The prices shown are net prices: VAT is not applicable on our sales, no tax is added at checkout, and the amount you see is the amount you pay. If the racket is not right for you, you have thirty days after delivery to return it to us unused, in its original packaging.

This blog will run alongside the shop. We will publish guides on choosing a racket, explanations of our technical choices and feedback from players who use our models every day. Welcome to SCUD.
